Dining at The Quogue Club is a truly exceptional experience available only to members and guests of the Club. Chef Matt Birnstill, who has lived and cooked on the East End his entire life, including for the highly Zagat rated 1770 House in East Hampton and the gastropub Public House 49 in Patchogue, is our founding Executive Chef. Chef Birnstill understands how to please the discretionary tastes of those enjoying the Hamptons lifestyle and is known for a varied and regularly evolving menu. Using his longstanding ties to the community to source locally-farmed produce, Chef Birnstill also works with local meat purveyors and the fishermen who ply their trade in the bays and open waters of Long Island’s East End.
The wine list has been curated by knowledgeable members of the Club; it is an inspired and sophisticated collection reflecting the tastes and interests of our Hamptons community. Each wine has been personally tasted and selected by our Wine Committee and includes an internationally culled range of exceptional wines at reasonable price points. The Club also offers the full spectrum of classic cocktails, plus local favorites such as the Slow Dune Road.
In addition to the formal dining room, the Club has a welcoming bar and tavern area which offer spacious room for a cocktail on the patio or fireside, with casual dining at the bar or in the tavern. Throughout, guests have the opportunity to experience the inimitable design of decorator Alexa Hampton. The décor’s blend of modern and traditional elements combines to make the restaurant comfortable and engaging on a year-round basis. The restaurant, painted in a warm and welcoming navy blue with bright, white detailed millwork moldings, is adorned by locally shot photographs. The Ikat covered benches and geometric rug bring a fresh twist to the overall décor, creating a modern yet timeless feel to the restaurant.
Please note beginning after Labor Day our restaurant will be closed Tuesdays & Wednesdays.
