When discussing the world of interior design, it is not long before the name Alexa Hampton is mentioned. Along with decorating everything from private airplanes to expansive estates, the Hampton name can also be found in many other aspects of the design world including design books and essays, collections of furniture, lighting, fabric, paint, and so much more. As one of the leading interior designers in the country and the world, Alexa Hampton has consistently been named as a Top 100 designer by Architectural Digest, New York Magazine and House Beautiful. Most recently, she was featured in the compendium “INSPIRED DESIGN, The 100 Most Important Interior Designers of the Past 100 Years” by Jenifer Boles. With her long list of accolades and an extensive portfolio of luxury projects, it was a privilege to have had Alexa Hampton work on the Hallock House restoration project and we are truly grateful for her beautiful interior design throughout The Quogue Club. We are also grateful that Alexa was able to take some time out of her busy schedule to share with us a little more about her life in the design world.
